Johnny Osborne has joined Alliant Insurance Services as senior vice president within its Alliant Americas division. He is based in Huntsville and will help expand the company’s presence in the Southeast.

Maynard Nexsen has added Nancy Hughes and Anna Miller to the firm’s Trusts, Estates, Fiduciaries and Family Business practice group. Hughes and Miller were formerly with Hughes & Scalise.

Manufacture Alabama has elected Karen Johnston chair for 2025-2026, succeeding Paul Vercher. Johnston is regional director for government affairs at Toyota North America.

Marty Irby, founder and president of Capitol South LLC, has been named one of The Hill’s Top Lobbyists for 2024, marking his fifth appearance on the list. He is a native of Mobile.
