Capstone Starts Work on $13 Million Georgia Multifamily Rehab Project

Capstone Building Corp., based in Birmingham, has kicked off work on a $13 million project to rehabilitate four apartment complexes in Albany, Georgia. The four complexes total 279 units.

Renovations will include work on HVAC, kitchens, baths, flooring, fixtures and other needed elements. The complexes include one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units for lower-income families, with some designated for older residents and those with disabilities.

Capstone will be working with developers Hunt Companies and Boulevard Group and with the City of Albany housing authority.

Founded in 1997, Capstone has completed more than 111 projects in 22 states, valued at $1.7 billion.
