Birmingham-based Capstone Building Corp. has begun work on Gabriel Apartments, a 10-building, 288-unit complex in Madison.
Developer for the project is 1542 Balch LLC, while Capstone is general contractor.
In addition to the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, the complex will include a clubhouse and pool, playground, fitness area, dog park, electric vehicle charging station, garage space and more.

Since 1997 Capstone has completed 129 projects in 22 states, valued at more than $2 billion.
