Huntsville’s Calhoun Community College will receive $100,000 from GE Aerospace, part of $2.3 million that GE is investing in workforce development across the U.S. The $100,000 will go to Calhoun’s process technology program. – Calhoun Community College

Continuing its wave of acquisitions, Birmingham-based wealth management company Waverly Advisors has acquired Ohio’s 9258 Wealth Management. It’s Waverly’s 17th acquisition since 2021 and the seventh this year. Financial terms were not disclosed. – Waverly Advisors
