Byron Allen, the comedian and TV host who now owns 36 TV stations, has acquired WCOV, the Fox affiliate in Montgomery. Allen purchased the station from David Woods for $28.5 million in cash.  – Yahoo! News

 

Culverhouse launches Executive Education program

The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business in January will launch its Executive Education program, featuring programs for decision-makers and senior practitioners. First up in April is a track on business cybersecurity, and the college will have a webinar info session about it on Jan. 11. – University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business

Montgomery airport has new executive director

Wade Davis has been named executive director of the Montgomery Regional Airport. He served as director of airports for the Shreveport Regional Airport and Shreveport Downtown Airport. – Alabama News Network

 

Highlands College moves into new campus
