Building & Earth Sciences Inc. has opened its 18th location in the U.S. and its first in the state of Tennessee.
The Nashville location, led by industry veteran Buddy Matherley, will serve Central Tennessee with geotechnical and environmental consulting services, construction materials testing, special inspection services and other special services. Special services include geophysical site evaluations, floor flatness testing, thermal image scanning and more.
“Nashville has seen incredible growth in the past few years and so has Building & Earth,” said Matherley. “With branches already well-established in Birmingham, Huntsville and Louisville, it’s only logical for us to have a presence in Nashville as well. Many of our national clients have put down roots here, and it’s time we do the same.”
Matherley, who joined Building & Earth in 2021, has worked on several projects in East Tennessee with a previous company. The Building & Earth Nashville team has already started work on several large projects in the metropolitan area.
