Britt, Tuberville threaten Mexico with action over Vulcan Materials
Alabama’s U.S senators, Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, are among lawmakers urging Mexico to prevent actions against Birmingham-based Vulcan Materials that they say are illegal. In a letter, the lawmakers said they will look at ways to respond should Mexico seize Vulcan’s land and port in Quintana Roo, Mexico, where Mexico shut Vulcan’s operations down a year ago. – AL.com
Muscle Shoals announces $65M sports, entertainment complex
The city of Muscle Shoals announced a $65 million facility for sports and entertainment. It will include a multi-use area that will hold 66 acres of fields and diamonds for baseball, softball and football. – News 19
