Brenda Dennis has been promoted to president and CEO of the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce.
Dennis, who previously served as executive director, has been with the chamber for more than two years. During that time, the organization has seen steady growth in membership, operating income and new programs.
“Brenda has innovative ideas and has definitely moved this chamber forward,” said Marjorie Bowden, chair of the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce. “Her dedication and tireless efforts have contributed to providing added benefits that are offered to all our members.”
Among the new programs Dennis has brought to the chamber are the Junior Ambassador Program and the Women Who Mean Business Conference & Market. She also has completed the organization’s first strategic plan.
“As a leader, she is sure to further our strategic goals and take our community and local area business members to greater heights,” Bowden said.
