Brasfield & Gorrie renovates Clemson football stadium

The Clemson Tigers will play their first home game of the season Saturday in a stadium renovated by Birmingham-based Brasfield & Gorrie. Major renovations were made to locker rooms, the parking lot and to the Brown Family Tiger Walk at the South Carolina school’s Memorial Stadium. The Tigers take on Charleston Southern in the home opener.  – Brasfield & Gorrie

 

UA plans new computing center

The University of Alabama System board of trustees has approved construction of the High Performance Computing and Data Center on the Tuscaloosa campus. The connected computing system will be the largest in the state, the school says. – Alabama Political Reporter

Tuscaloosa’s Big Bad Wolves has closed

Big Bad Wolves, which for more than two decades has sold nachos and sandwiches on the Strip in Tuscaloosa during University of Alabama home game weekends, has called it quits. The company bottles its sauce, which is still available at South’s Finest Meats in Tuscaloosa and Cottondale. – AL.com
