Two Birmingham-based companies will partner with the World Games 2022, taking place in Birmingham July 7-17, 2022.
Brasfield & Gorrie has been named official construction partner of games, and HPM has been named official program management partner for the event expected to draw 3,600 from around the world to compete in more than 30 sports.
Brian Barr, a senior executive at Brasfield & Gorrie, and Ryan Austin, executive vice president and COO at HPM, will also join the event’s board of directors.
“Brasfield & Gorrie and HPM are world-class construction and program management firms, and their partnership with World Games 2022 is so valuable,” said Nick Sellers, CEO of the WG22. “But even more valuable is the addition of Brian Barr and Ryan Austin to our board of directors. These two gentlemen are leaders in our community and state. Brian will serve as the chair of our construction committee and Ryan will serve as vice chair.”
