Boeing will lay off Huntsville employees
Boeing will lay off 158 employees in Huntsville in 2025, part of a plan to cut its U.S. workforce by 10%. The layoffs will begin on Jan. 17, according to a notice filed with the Alabama Department of Commerce. – AL.com
FabArc transitions to employee-owned

Last tenant at Birmingham’s Brookwood Village closes
Five Guys, the only remaining tenant at Birmingham’s once-popular Brookwood Village mall, has closed. A proposal has been made to turn the mall into a facility for Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. – Bham Now
