Boeing Starliner launches successfully
The Boeing Starliner, powered by a rocket from United Launch Alliance in Decatur, successfully launched Wednesday on its third try. The Starliner and its two-person crew are headed for the International Space Station. It’s Boeing’s first-ever crewed mission. – News 19
Ave Maria Grotto will undergo renovation

BHM airport traffic up over last year

North Alabama communities receive grant for environmental cleanup
Site assessment projects to determine what it will take to transform areas with potential environmental concerns will be funded in Athens, Fort Payne and Gurley via a $1.5 million grant from the Environmental Protection Agency.
