Boeing grant will lead to more cybersecurity job opportunities in Huntsville

A $23.5 million grant will help Boeing build up its cybersecurity and tech apprenticeship program in Huntsville and two other U.S. locations. The grant, awarded to the workforce institute Apprenti, will help build apprenticeship programs for Boeing and Amazon. Apprenti is based in Washington, where Boeing has much of its commercial operations.  – St. Louis Post-Dispatch

 

Auburn University among those receiving additive manufacturing grants

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology awarded $3.7 million in grants having to do with metals-based additive manufacturing measurement science research, including almost $950,000 to Auburn University.
