Alabama will receive $11 million for jobs, land in coal communities
Alabama is one of six states receiving a total of $130 million to create jobs and revitalize land in coal communities as part of the Abandoned Mine and Economic Revitalization program. Alabama’s portion of the funds is $11 million. – U.S. Department of the Interior
