Birmingham will have direct New York flight
American Airlines is adding a non-stop flight from Birmingham to New York effective the first week of May. The flight will leave Birmingham daily for LaGuardia airport at 6:05 a.m. A return flight will leave LaGuardia each night at 7:29 p.m. – American Airlines
Alabama Launchpad names social impact winners

Jack’s may add 24 locations in 2023
Birmingham-based Jack’s plans to add up to 24 restaurants within the next year. The fast-food chain has more than 220 locations across Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Tennessee. Growth will include growing its presence in Mobile and Phenix City. – AL.com
Stephens Group acquires Quality Valve
Arkansas-based the Stephens Group has acquired Mobile’s Quality Valve. Quality Valve is a national distributor of OEM replacement and repair parts for safety and relief valves. – Stephens Group
