Birmingham Water Works lands $171 million grant

The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded Birmingham Water Works a $171 million grant to improve its infrastructure. The Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act grant will go to two projects: improvements in the Lake Purdy Dam and replacement of lead service lines. – Bham Now
