The city of Birmingham has sold 222 acres off Lakeshore Parkway to Green Meadow Apartments LLC for a housing development. The land sold for $1.5 million and could have as many as 900 residents when it is developed. – City of Birmingham

D.R. Horton opening Spanish Fort headquarters
