Construction has started on a $60 million, 336-unit luxury apartment development near Pensacola’s Navy Federal Credit Union campus. Birmingham’s Daniel Corp. is the developer, and Doster Construction is the contractor.
The four-story community is in Pathstone, a 174-acre mixed-use development that will include more than 200 single-family homes and 75,000 square feet of retail space.
The first units in the new complex are scheduled to be complete in fall 2021.
Daniel’s marketing director, Burgoyne McClendon, told the Pensacola News Journal that the city could expect a new level of luxury with the as yet unnamed development.
“Our team has put a lot of thought into the unit finishings and amenities that will be available to future residents and know this community will set a new standard of quality for for-rent apartments in Pensacola,” McClendon said.
Daniel Corp. has been a leader in commercial and residential real estate since its founding in 1964. Doster, founded in 1969, consistently ranks among Engineering News Record’s top 400 contractors.
