Birmingham Fastener has acquired Champion Sales and Manufacturing Inc., a rubber gasket company based in Magnolia, Texas. Champion manufactures gaskets for the waterworks industry. – Birmingham Fastener

 

Investor plans Fairhope-style development

An investor paid $1.4 million for about 10 acres just south of Fairhope Avenue in Fairhope to develop a Main Street retail concept with a downtown Fairhope atmosphere. The Main Street will include shops and restaurants. – AL.com

Whole Foods closing two Alabama stores
