The University of Alabama raised a record amount during its Bama Blitz annual giving days April 19-21. More than 1,300 gifts totaling more than $6.1 million were given during the crowdfunded, social-media-driven campaign. Homewood apartments sell for $6.7 million

The Oasis Apartment Homes in Homewood sold for $6.7 million, according to Marcus & Millichap, which brokered the sale. The apartments, consisting of 60 units, were purchased by an Atlanta company. – Marcus & Millichap

Third class of Women’s Foundation of Alabama fellows convenes

Twenty-nine women from 15 counties have been named fellows of the Women’s Foundation of Alabama Women’s Policy Institute.
