Austal USA will pay $24 million to settle fraud charges
Austal USA has agreed to pay a $24 million fine in an accounting fraud case, according to the Mobile-based company’s Australian parent company. The deal was struck with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice.
