August McCoy has been named creative director of Red Sage Communications. Red Sage is an integrated communications agency with offices in Huntsville and Decatur.
McCoy takes over the creative director position from agency founder and president Ellen Didier. With decades of experience, McCoy will utilize his knowledge to lead Red Sage’s creative team of designers, website developers and technical experts. He also will lead priority creative initiatives with a focus on user experience and lifecycle marketing engagement.
“August is known for his ability to think outside the box and his passion for pushing the boundaries of design,” said Didier. “His approach to creativity is deeply rooted in strategy and is focused on delivering measurable results for our clients.”
Prior to joining Red Sage, McCoy served as creative director at Amplience and OSG, art director at WhatCounts and Windsor Circle, as well as web designer for The Body Shop, L’Oreal.
