Auburn’s Aptar CSP Technologies has been awarded a $19.3 million contract to expand its production capacity for Activ-Film COVID-19 test strips. The contractor is Air Force Life Cycle Management, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. – Defense Daily

 

Mobile chamber has interim CEO

As a search for a permanent CEO begins, Bob Chappelle has been named interim CEO of the the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. Chappelle, currently COO of the chamber, will replace current CEO William B. Sisson, who is resigning effective Friday.  – Fox 10

Russell Lands unveils name of new golf club

The Coore & Crenshaw golf course under construction at Lake Martin will be Wicker Point Golf Club when it opens in 2023. Ground broke for the facility in March 2021. The 18-hole course will feature pine plantations, meandering creeks and lakefront holes. – Russell Lands
