Coca-Cola United part of venture capital fund
Birmingham’s Coca-Cola Bottling Co. United is one of nine partners in a nearly $138 million venture capital fund. The Greycroft Coca-Cola System Sustainability Fund will focus on sustainability investments, including packaging, heating and cooling, and distribution. – AL.com
Fire breaks out at Gulf Shores restaurant
Dinner patrons were evacuated from Bahama Bob’s Beachside Café in Gulf Shores Sunday night as the restaurant caught fire. A few minutes later, flames were seen shooting from the building. The cause of the fire is under investigation. – WVTM 13
