Alabama will get 3rd Trader Joe’s
Trader Joe’s will open a location in Hoover in 2025, the grocery store chain’s third location in Alabama. The store will open in a former Bed Bath and Beyond location on Lorna Road. Other Alabama locations are at the Summit in Birmingham and in Huntsville. – AL.com
6 UNA students receive scholarships named for Mauldin
Six students in various majors have been awarded the Edward Fennel Mauldin Endowed Scholarship at the University of North Alabama. Mauldin was the first chairman of Bank Independent, where his son, Macke, is now president. – University of North Alabama
