Alabama was finalist for big Honda Aircraft project
Alabama was in the running for a $56 million Honda Aircraft project that eventually went to Greensboro, North Carolina. The Associated Press cites a document that identified Albertville as one of the finalists for the project that’s expected to generate 280 jobs. – AL.com
Phyllis Norton DePiano, who founded Birmingham-based Hoffman Media and published magazines such as Southern Lady, Bake From Scratch and Cooking With Paula Deen, has died at age 69, according to an obituary on Facebook. DePiano founded the company that would become Hoffman Media. – Facebook
