Alabama home sales increased 23.4% year-over-year in March, a 10th consecutive month of year-over-year gains, according to the Alabama Association of Realtors. Sales are up almost 19% year-to-date. – Alabama NewsCenter

Wisconsin firm buys Huntsville’s Technicolor campus
Wisconsin’s Phoenix Investors has purchased the Technicolor campus in Huntsville. The property spans 161 acres and 1.4 million square feet.  The property was substantially renovated in 1995, 2001 and 2007.  – Cision

EBSCO eyeing Shelby County property for apartment development
EBSCO has filed permits indicating it is looking to build a multi-family development across from the new Tattersall Park development in Shelby County near Birmingham. EBSCO says it does not currently have any construction permits, but EBSCO Income Properties has filed a permit application with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management to potentially develop an apartment community near Tattersall Park. – Patch

HBO’s ‘Generation Hustle’ focuses on Opelika startup
The latest episode of the HBO series “Generation Hustle” tells the story of Kyle Sandler and his Roundhouse, an Opelika business incubator that closed after millions had been invested by more than 50 investors. Sandler pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of securities fraud in 2018. – Opelika-Auburn News

Brasfield & Gorrie lands $31 million North Carolina contract
Birmingham’s Brasfield & Gorrie was awarded a $31 million contract to make repairs on the Alton Lennon Federal Courthouse, which overlooks the Cape Fear River in Wilmington, North Carolina. The courthouse was damaged by Hurricane Florence in 2018. Construction should begin this summer. – Port City Daily
