Alabama firm barred from representing plaintiffs in major lawsuit
A federal judge has barred Montgomery law firm Beasley Allen from representing plaintiffs in an ongoing lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson over claims the company’s talc-based powder caused cancer. The law firm says it will appeal the ruling. – AL.com

Space and Rocket Center’s first director has died
Edward O. Buckbee, the founding executive director of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center who oversaw the creation of Space Camp, has died. Buckbee was appointed executive director in 1970 by Wernher von Braun. He served in the position for 23 years. – News 19
