Alabama developer seeks approval for multifamily complex in Virginia
Falls Development LLC, a division of Birmingham-based Blackwater Resources, has submitted a plan to the city of Bristol, Virginia, to build a large multifamily residential and retail complex. The project would be on 8.85 acres near other retail space developed by Blackwater.  – Bristol Herald Courier

FAA considering space vehicle landings in Huntsville
Huntsville’s airport and Nevada-based Sierra Space have given the FAA a proposal to allow landings of commercial space craft on a runway at the airport. The vehicles would be launched elsewhere but would land in Huntsville. The FAA is conducting a preliminary review of the proposal. – Miami Herald 

German companies honored for investments into Alabama
Gov. Kay Ivey recognized 10 companies that invested $210 million into Alabama at the annual Alabama Germany Partnership Dinner in Birmingham. The companies include Aldi, Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Berg Pipe and Evonik Corp. – AL.com
