Bradley Partner David Pugh has been chosen to serve as chair of the Associated Builders and Contractors National Board of Directors for 2025.
“Nothing could be more thrilling than leading ABC in its 75th year, and as ABC’s first-ever associate member national chair, I am looking forward to the opportunity,” said Pugh.
A graduate of the University of Alabama with a civil engineering degree and a juris doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School, Pugh has represented owners, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, insurers and sureties throughout the United States.
He has advised clients at every stage of a construction project, from conception to closeout, and represented clients in dozens of legal proceedings, including an appeal before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Jay Reed, president of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama, said, “Our chapter is extremely excited to have one of our own leading the national association. David Pugh brings a toolbox fully loaded with the experience needed to elevate our strategic plan from day one. Under David’s guidance, our chapter has grown in membership, safety, governmental affairs and workforce development. I have no doubt that his leadership will drive similar success for the national association over the next year.”
