Airbus confirms expansion details

Airbus executives confirmed that the aerospace company will build a second A320 final assembly line in Mobile to open in 2025, creating about 1,000 new jobs. In addition, the company plans to build a new paint facility in Mobile by the end of 2023. – FlightGlobal

 

Innovation Corp. seeks executive director

The Alabama Innovation Corp. is looking for its first executive director to lead the group that promotes innovation and entrepreneurship around the state. The corporation came out of the Alabama Innovation Commission, formed by the state to make recommendations about innovation and entrepreneurship. – AL.com

Bass fishing pioneer Ray Scott dies

Ray Scott, who helped launch professional bass fishing, died Sunday in a rehabilitation facility near Montgomery. He was 88. He founded the first pro bass fishing tournament in the late 1960s. – USA Today

 

Warrior Met says it lost $10 million due to strike
