Aerospace and Aviation charter school approved

Alabama Aerospace and Aviation High School has received approval from the Alabama Public Charter School Commission, and plans are to open the school in Bessemer in the fall of 2022. The public charter school will have a curriculum designed to prepare students for aerospace and aviation careers. – WBRC

Huntsville apartments sell for $65 million

Florida-based RAS Realty Partners has sold the Moderne at Providence, a Huntsville apartment community, for $64.75 million. RAS bought the 300-unit property in 2018 for $45 million. – GlobeSt.com

Alabama State University will partner with Apple

Alabama State University will become a community center for coding and creativity in a partnership with Apple and Tennessee State University. Study: Alabama lags on Best States to Work list

Alabama comes in 49th, just above Mississippi, on OxFam America’s list of Best and Worst States to Work in America 2021. The state ranked 48th for wage policies, 49th for worker protection policies and 48th for rights to organize.  – OxFam America
