Austal USA has named Adam Overstreet vice president of legal affairs and chief compliance officer. In this role, he will manage legal issues spanning employment and labor law, commercial transactions and litigation. He also will oversee and strengthen the executive of compliance activities throughout the company.

Overstreet has more than 20 years of legal experience, serving most recently as Huntington Ingalls Industries Ingalls Shipbuilding Division’s senior counsel. He also served as assistant U.S. attorney for 10 years, specializing in the prosecution of white collar crimes.
Overstreet has a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.
