North Italia lands in Huntsville this October

The Italian concept known for its scratch-made pastas and hand-tossed pizzas will open at Bridge Street Town Centre on Oct. 28, 2026

North Italia, the nationally recognized Italian concept known for its scratch-made pastas, hand-tossed pizzas and craft cocktails, will officially open its doors at Bridge Street Town Centre (401 The Bridge Street NW, Space #180) on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026. Marking North Italia’s second restaurant in Alabama following Birmingham, the Huntsville team looks forward to introducing their modern Italian fare, value-packed happy hour and warm hospitality to Rocket City.

Spanning more than 9,000 square feet, Huntsville is one of North Italia’s biggest restaurants to date, welcoming up to 322 guests across a lively main dining room, expansive bar and 2,500 square feet of covered outdoor patio space. Designed for everything from weekday lunches and leisurely weekend brunches to happy hour gatherings and celebratory dinners, the space features North Italia’s signature open kitchen, where guests can watch chefs toss pizzas and roll fresh pasta from scratch daily.

No North Italia is complete without locally inspired and commissioned artwork. Curated in partnership with Birmingham-based Mammoth Murals and with art direction by Michael Vizzina, North Italia Huntsville’s art program merges the city’s aerospace legacy with the playful energy of Italian Futurism. Whimsical murals and original works layer references to flight, space exploration and North Alabama’s natural landscape, such as an exterior sailplane with a Vespa-and-sidecar undercarriage to a patio mural of an explorer reaching for a red camellia, Alabama’s official state flower.

With a kitchen led by North Italia veterans, guests of the Huntsville restaurant will soon be able to enjoy fan-favorite dishes that have earned a loyal following in Birmingham and across the country, as well as seasonal specials made with the freshest ingredients that fall and winter have to offer. Highlights from the new fall menu, debuting in early October include:
