Catherine Crosby has joined Burr & Forman as partner in the White-Collar Crime practice group. A former first assistant U.S. attorney and acting criminal chief for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama, Crosby brings experience in advising clients on criminal investigations, government enforcement actions and crisis management.
Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Crosby spent 11 years in private practice, where she represented clients in financial services, construction and employment disputes.
“Catherine’s extensive experience across both government and private practice gives her critical insight into what leads companies into — and out of — the government’s crosshairs,” said Birmingham Office Managing Partner April Mason. “Her addition further strengthens our already deep bench and reinforces our standing as one of the Southeast’s premier teams for white collar matters.”
Crosby will advise clients on white collar defense, government investigations, corporate compliance, crisis management and complex litigation.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.
