Daron Drown

Intuitive Research and Technology Corp. (INTUITIVE®) named Daron Drown as senior vice president of the Programs Strategic Business Unit, strengthening the company’s executive leadership and reinforcing its long-term commitment to delivering mission-critical solutions for the nation’s most complex defense challenges.

As customer missions continue to evolve, INTUITIVE is strengthening its executive leadership to meet tomorrow’s challenges. Drown brings experience that will help advance innovation, deepen customer partnerships and deliver mission-focused solutions across integrated air and missile defense, advanced weapon systems and next-generation defense capabilities.

As senior vice president, Drown will lead the Programs Strategic Business Unit (SBU), overseeing program execution and growth across a diverse portfolio supporting the Department of War.

Drown previously served as a division manager leading the company’s support to the U.S. Army’s Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires. A retired U.S. Air Force colonel, he brings more than three decades of military leadership and technical expertise spanning missile defense, advanced sensors, weapons systems, test and evaluation, systems engineering and acquisition. Prior to joining INTUITIVE, Drown served as director of test planning and design at the Missile Defense Agency, where he led strategic planning for the agency’s $1 billion annual test program.
