Seven Alabama schools rank on U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Colleges rankings, led by Auburn University at No. 102. Pat McClellan, co-owner of the Flora-Bama Lounge, Package, and Oyster Bar in Orange Beach, has died. McClellan and Joe Gilchrist became co-owners of the famed bar in 1984. — News 5
