TVA, Plus Power bringing battery energy storage project to Jackson County

The Tennessee Valley Authority and Plus Power have entered into a 20-year agreement to bring a battery energy storage project to the Crawfish Creek site in Jackson County. Crawfish Creek Energy Storage will own the facility, but TVA will charge and dispatch energy from the battery system. â€“ News 19

Former Fairhope hotel sells for $5.4 million
