Officials with general contractor Brasfield & Gorrie told the Birmingham City Council Monday night of their plans for a $64.5 million expansion of the company’s Birmingham headquarters. The company says the expansion will create 80 new jobs. – AL.com

New recovery program launched in Luverne
Frey Medical Management, which recently acquired Regional Medical Center in Greenville, is launching a recovery program based in Luverne.
