Troy Regional CEO Rick Smith, FACHE, has received the 2026 Baldrige Foundation Leadership Award, presented by the Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
“The foundation’s Leadership Awards recognize individuals whose leadership reflects the values and principles of the Baldrige Framework and whose service has strengthened organizations, communities and the broader Baldrige enterprise,” said Josh Racette, president and CEO of the Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Inc.
Smith said of winning the award, “Leadership is something we discuss daily at Troy Regional. My goal is to equip our leadership team with the knowledge and tools they need to be effective and successful. We also focus on identifying employees with potential and giving them an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and advance within the organization.”
Smith will be honored during a luncheon on March 31, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland.
