Jerry Underwood, who after a long career as a reporter and business editor at The Birmingham News helped create and ran the Alabama Department of Commerce’s Made in Alabama website, has died at age 65. Underwood is survived by his wife, Lisa; son, John; and daughter, Mary Margaret. – Made in Alabama
