FBI launches drone threat training center at Redstone Arsenal
The FBI on Friday held a ribbon-cutting for the bureau’s National Counter-Unmanned Training Center, or NCUTC, at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville. The first-of-its-kind center will prepare law enforcement and security professionals to detect, assess and counter emerging unmanned aircraft system threats. – Alabama Political Reporter
Huntsville plans more VBC upgrades
Coming on the heels of major renovations to the Von Braun Center’s Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, the city of Huntsville is planning $4.5 million in renovations to the VBC’s Propst Arena, Playhouse and South Hall. The work will include a new ice system and work on the restrooms. – AL.com
Mobile music venue reopens in new space
