
Raymond J. Harbert, who founded Harbert Management Corp. in 1993, will step down as CEO of the company on Jan. 1, 2026, and become executive chairman.
Travis Pritchett, president and COO of the privately owned alternative asset manager, will become CEO.
Pritchett joined HMC in 2005, becoming president and COO in 2021.
“Travis has … an unparalleled understanding of what it means to be a bold, effective leader, having spearheaded the growth of many of our largest and most successful strategies,” Harbert said. “It has been rewarding to work alongside him for the past 20 years, and I am confident he is the right person to lead HMC to new heights in this next chapter.”
