DeMedicis give $1 million toward UAB arena effort
Longtime University of Alabama at Birmingham supporters Steve and Katrina DeMedici have committed $1 million to UAB athletics for the Bartow Arena renovation project. The Lakeshore Foundation, in Birmingham, is one of 10 organizations to receive a $10,000 grant from ESPN’s new Take Back Sports youth sports initiative. Dothan breaks ground on pickleball facility
