Savant Wealth Management has appointed Zach Ivey to chief investment officer. Ivey joined Savant in 2023, when Savant acquired Huntsville and Birmingham-based Bridgeworth Wealth Management.
Ivey previously served Bridgeworth as chief investment strategist from 2012 until the firm was acquired in 2023. Prior to Bridgeworth, he served as a director of planning for a national planning firm and as an advisor for a number of clients.
“When you love investing as I do, it can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of designing portfolios or researching investment ideas, but attaching a person to the portfolio is where the real magic happens,” said Ivey. “We believe clients’ portfolios should align with their values, goals and temperament. Savant’s value comes in our collective wisdom and experience, helping clients navigate their financial lives.”
Ivey has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and an MBA from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Alabama and the Financial Planning Association.
