Cutts Restaurant, a fixture in the Wiregrass for 60 years, has closed. The restaurant opened as a country store in Level Plains before opening as a restaurant in Enterprise. Four generations of the Cutts family worked at the restaurant. – Bama Buzz
Piggly Wiggly closing location
A Piggly Wiggly that has been in Phenix City for more than 40 years will shut its doors. No closing date has been set, and the store’s 20 employees have been offered jobs at other stores. – AL.com
New federal courthouse opens in Huntsville
A new United States Courthouse has opened in Huntsville after four years of construction. Some tenants moved in as early as 2024, but the official grand opening of the facility took place Feb. 13. – Hville Blast
