Four Alabama businesses are the recipients of the 2026 Alabama Manufacturer of the Year Awards.
Small Manufacturer of the Year is JIT Industries in Hartselle; Medium Manufacturer of the Year is Evonik Corp. in Mobile and Birmingham; Large Manufacturer of the Year is American Cast Iron Pipe Co. in Birmingham; and Emerging Manufacturer of the Year is Kaishan Compressor USA in Loxley.
The Manufacturer of the Year Awards — presented by the Business Council of Alabama, Alabama Training Network and Manufacture Alabama — are in their 27th year honoring manufacturers for excellence in leadership, performance, innovation and workforce development.
Winners are selected by an independent panel of judges.
Other finalists for the awards were:
Small category (99 or fewer employees): Armand Products Co., IMS Inc. and Perfection Chain Products.
Medium category (100-399 employees): Cast Products Inc., Hexcel Corp., Jasper Lumber Co. and Webb Wheel Products Inc.
Large category (400 or more employees): Dorsey Trailer LLC, Southwire, Topre America Corp. and the Westervelt Company.
