UA swimmer wins SEC Startup Competition
Sydney Blackhurst, a senior in accounting who is on the University of Alabama’s swimming and diving team, won the first-place prize of $10,000 at the SEC Startup Competition for her Beyond Barriers Swim Foundation, which offers adaptive swim lessons for children with illnesses or disabilities.
