Automatic SMP will close its 90-employee Decatur plant and move those operations to facilities in California and Mexico. The plant, formerly called Automatic Screw Machine Products, has been in Decatur since 1948, as a family-owned business until it was acquired by Connecticut-based Stanley Black & Decker in 2018. – Yahoo! ServPro buys Mobile warehouse
Mobile County’s ServPro has purchased a warehouse in Mobile for $1 million. An existing building on the site will be used for processing and storage of items. A second building will be built for offices, sales, marketing and production teams. – AL.com
