2 hotels planned for Huntsville
Building permits have been issued for two hotels to be built near Joe Davis Stadium in Huntsville. The two hotels are Hilton brands, and the permit is for $24 million. – AL.com

A study by the Texas A&M Transportation Institute shows that commuters in Birmingham spend an average of 57 hours commuting to and from work annually, the most of any Alabama city. Mobile and Huntsville follow with 54 and 45 hours respectively. – Bama Buzz
